Research profile

The Functional Pragmatics allows me to grasp the underlying structures of linguistic action. In short, it looks like that:

Stocks of knowlege interwined with action patterns makes the reconstruction of mental processes possible. I am enabled to capture the direction of the action by looking at the function of lingusitic utterances. These parameters are viewed embedded in their individual action spaces which guarentees the analysis of linguistic action within sociality .

With that, questions about the how and why linguistic acting happens the way it does can be answered.

My research is focused on communication within the classroom, (inter-)cultural, as well as migration and discrimination contexts (from a Critical Whiteness perspective).

Through my publications below you can get further insights into my research.
