Questioning and Collaborating.

I have always been enthusiastic about looking at various topics from different angles, and observing their interplay. Instead of taking just one position, I prefer to examine the dynamics of multiple viewpoints. This enables me to remain a objectivity and work towards an overall understanding of the topic.

Indeed, this approach forms the foundation of my research and teaching at the university.  I love finding solutions to various challenges teaching (inter-)cultural, communicative and linguistic tools, and identifying overlooked issues that demand both attention and resolution.

I am passionately committed to establishing and nurturing a critical debate culture, and to that end, I love to share techniques that promote reflective thinking in everyday conversations.

Through my experiences both as a student who at the beginning was clueless about how to study effectively, and later as a university instructor, I have gained insights into both sides of the German university system. Paired with my own research interests, and experiences teaching German as a foreign language (DaF/DaZ), as well as working as an administrative assistant at the Volkshochschule Hildesheim, I have a range of resources to approach challenges from different angles.
